We are experts in the field of VPX systems and have been supplying and supporting Engineers with this technology for over 10 years in Australia. Unitronix also develops its own brand of rugged computer systems called REN or Rugged Embedded Nodes, these are veryrugged semi custom systems , infinatly configurable/ customisable by the integrator and meant for the commercial domestic and export markets, however there are within this range of products a future REN VPX series of boxes aimed at being a very cost effective ground vehicle computing system. These boxes will have SOSA VPX options and have configuration options that include SBC/ SDR/ PNT/ DSP. In addition Unitronix is developing a VPX FLAT PACK assembly in our REN 19 inch chassis, this enables VPX systems with 3 or 4 cards to be FLATPACKED in to 2U 19 inch fully sealed conduction cooled chassis and this brings a unique option to customers wishing to deploy VPX based systems. Unitronix aspires to eventually developing our own VPX speciality cards for the 5 eyes COTs market place, work had started in this area but covid has put it on to the back burner for now.
