The Cougar Mining Group currently employs approx 150 people involved with maintaining and managing a wide-ranging fleet of approx. 100 units of mobile underground equipment comprising loaders, driftrunners, auxiliary fans, heavy/longwall relocation equipment, shearer carrier, chock carriers, 40 & 60T heavy lifts, mynedozer, mule, flitmate etc. in addition to comprehensive group of attachments and smaller mining implements. Cougar has developed significant workshop and field maintenance capabilities supporting the hire fleet equipment as it cycles through and between hires, maintaining safety, compliance, reliability, and fit for purpose.
